Ever since, Google released the Google Navigation Maps Beta on cell phones which runs Android 1.6 OS or higher. But it’s a big problem that the Android 1.6 device users outside the USA can not used it. It’s unfortunately. And hack your phone is only way.

But, God is kind to people. Electricpig offers tutorial to teach you how to hack your phone to let Google Maps Navigation works on Android 1.6 cell phone, who are outside the US. As you can see on the image above, they have it working on their HTC Magic, across the pond in the United Kingdom. There are still a few kinks though, so if you live outside the US and want to try this, be warned.
