Unannounced Sony Ericsson Kanna U8i was leaked

In addition to the high-end X10 smartphone on the Android market, the Sony Ericsson also has a another product line on the smartphone market, that is Symbian S60. In 2009, Sony Ericsson has launched the Satio with a 12M camera. Now in 2010, the beginning of the new year, Unannounced Sony Ericsson Kanna appeared on the Web mysteriously and unexpectedly. Although there has not been officially confirmed temporarily, but according to informed sources that the phone will probably be released at MWC2010 opened in February of this year.
Sony Ericsson Kanna U8i looks like the Kurara leaked just a few days ago except the QWERTY keyboard (Kanna=U8i, Kurara=U5i). So the Kanna looks like a version with a QWERTY keyboard of the Kurara. The Sony Ericsson Kanna features a 8.1M camera, 3.2-inch TFT touchscreen, running Symbian 5th OS, MicroUSB etc.

Nokia said would catch up with Apple and RIM in smartphone field 2011.

Nokia’s new product development director Rick Simonson (RickSimonson) today accept the “Times of India” an interview and said the company in the field of smartphones would catch up with Apple and RIM in 2011. Simonson said that while Nokia in field of smartphones are now lagging behind Apple and RIM, but will not admit defeat.
He said: “In the past 18 months, our market share of smartphones has been declining, but in the Q2 and Q3 of 2009, this downward trend has stopped and stabilized. With the release of Maemo OS and the stable Symbian OS market share, that will enable us to be able to recover lost ground in the the field of smart phones this year, Symbian is still the world’s largest smartphone OS.”

new cellphone: LG Arena GT950 comes with 5M camera to AT&T US.

In may last, there was a new phone named LG Arena GT950 was leaked, until today, this phone really revealed. Thouth LG or AT&T official doesn’t announce, but images of the LG Arena GT950 was leakd on the Internet. Look at the images, the LG Arena GT950 looks like LG KM900 Arena have been launched. Prior to the news said the phone maight be running Windows Mobile OS, but there has not been confirmed.
The LG Arena GT950 isn’t a smartphone, has S-Class UI, a 3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 5M AF camera (support D1 video recording), 8GB RAM, MicroSD, WIFI, GPS, 3G (CDMA / HSDPA). The detailed configuration of mobile phones and the price is unknown. However, LG is likely this week’s CES to unveil the device, we will continue to focus on.

Nokia Ovi Contacts update for S60v3 and S60v5.

Today Nokia Ovi Contacts app got an update for S60v3 and S60v5 users, new features/bug fixes include:
* Send file was working only from chat view, not from the friend list before, but now it works
* Issues with Cyrilic and Scandinavian letters were fixed (you may have seen these as broken letters in the friend list)
* E-mail field in ‘My profile’ didn’t accept “-” character is fixed, as reported by deekay304 in the forum
* Corrupted pics in personal and friends profile are fixed, as reported by lebb53 in the forum
New phone: Motorola Calgary / Droid Devour in silver

Recent there were many GPhones made from Motorola. In this new year, there was a new smartphone named Devour by Motorola also was leaked on BRG just a few days ago. The Motorola Calgary / Droid Devour also use the side-slide design, equips with a QWERTY keyboard. I think you might agree with my thoughts that the phone looks like the Motorola Droid at first when you were seeing this image. Please look carefully again. The phone doesn’t like the Droid but like Sidekick series.
Motorola Calgary / Droid Devour has Wi-Fi, GPS, a 1420mAh battery, but unfortunately no SIM card slot as it is not a global device, also support Verizon’s 3G network. And GSM/WCDMA version need to wait.

IPhone 4th track, will release two version respectively named N90 and N99?

Well, there is a news from a Taiwanese finance and economics webside said that Apple will release two version respectively named iPhone N90 and iPhone N99 this year, and they respectively is a Non-CDMA and CDMA version. I try to translate to en, the main means following.
According to the news the Zhongwen Xie who is principa analyst in the UBS Securities Company Limited said he understood iPhone4’s shell was made of glass material, support for replacement batteries, touch with nail, and will be further integration of touch with the PROGRAM function. He also said that with the previous three generations of iPhone, both of the design and system have done a lot to adjust.
General Mobile shows off images of Cosmos smartphone with Android 2.0

In Dec, I saw a new that General Mobile (GM) would release a new Android device and App store. Now GM shows off those images of the Cosmos smartphone with Android 2.0 OS on the Ineternet just enter the New Year. I think the Android will be a trend in this year.
General Mobile Cosmos features using trackball operation, a Marvell PXA935 624MHz processor, 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM, 3.2 inches HVGA capacitance touchscreen, 5M pixel auto focus camera, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS, a 1500mAh battery.
